"It's those same laws which state that "Obligations" are exempt from taxation."
You said something without any way to back up the statement.
To borrow a phrase,"SHOW ME THE LAW!"

Go ahead and cite a reference for me
It's not a reference RetSquid, it's a law, there's a difference you know.
so I don't have to waste my time looking for my 'mole-whacking' club.
Probably a good idea, I'm sure your getting tired of "Whacking" yourself with it. Not that you'd admit it anyway.

RetSquid the "Federal Reserve note" is considered an "Obligation" according to the governments own laws. It's those same laws which state that "Obligations" are exempt from taxation. Since all your research just consists of copying and pasteing instead of your own words then you'll have no problem looking up the legal definition of "Obligations" and copying them here for everyone to see. You posting this case is proof that the courts either don't know shit or they ignore their own laws!!

It happens to be the correct explanation.
Ya in whose eyes?........... Yours and the IRS's, It's all just second hand knowledge from the IRS's own website Bosun.

United States v. Condo, 741 F.2d 238, 239 (9th Cir. 1984) the court upheld the taxpayers criminal conviction, rejecting as frivolous the argument that Federal Reserve Notes are not valid currency, cannot be taxed, and are merely debts.

There is nothing in the Constitution that says that an amendment must specifically repeal another provision of the Constitution. In fact, there are 27 amendments to the Constitution, and only one of them specifically repeals an earlier provision. (The 21st Amendment, which ended Prohibition, specifically repeals the 18th Amendment, which started Prohibition.)

The 16th amendment conferred no new powers of taxation, it does not change or allow to change the income tax from an indirect tax to a direct tax. It's written right there in plain english.
